About Obsurfable
Obsurfable helps companies understand and improve how their brands appear in AI generated answers. As conversational AI tools increasingly become the interface through which people discover products, services, and information, visibility depends on whether a brand appears within the answer itself — not just in a list of links.
Rather than focusing on traditional search rankings, Obsurfable records how AI systems such as ChatGPT and Gemini respond to real world buyer questions. Each response becomes an observation in a shared public corpus: prompts, answers, brands mentioned, and citations — free for anyone to browse.
Why a public corpus
Most of what we record is publicly obtainable — anyone can ask ChatGPT or Gemini the same questions and read the answers. Many tools charge you to track those queries on your behalf. Obsurfable takes a different approach: publish the observations openly so nobody needs to pay for basic visibility into how AI describes brands.
A shared dataset creates a level playing field. Startups, researchers, journalists, and incumbents all see the same evidence — not proprietary scores locked behind tiers.
The Explorer
The Obsurfable Explorer is the public face of this corpus. Browse prompts, company pages, and category landscapes to see which brands AI mentions, cites, and recommends. Observation history is part of the shared dataset — not a paid unlock.
Open the Explorer to explore what AI recommends in your category.
